N.Carolina Harp Trip 2008

Lisa and Renai brought us up to date on the Obama campaign and on local NC races, fitted us for our T-shirts, and shared some joy and HOPE.
On to the Hall Family Cottage at Atlantic Beach, NC - what a wonderful place with a long family history!

Playing music for the Home Place retirement community in New Bern on Saturday afternoon. Ann on harp, Sharon on bass, Don on guitar, and Dan on harmonica. We made a joyful noise!
Sharon and I debuted our new composition, Prelude for Peace, here at the Home Place. We got all the way through it with no mistakes! (well, just about)
Sunday lunch after church with Don, Claire, Dan, Grandmother Jenkins, Annie Rose, Burkette, and Sharon (taking the picture). Delicious!
Wonderful hospitality offered by New Bern friends, Dot and Morgan O'Brien, who own a Celtic harp from Ireland. You two are awesome!
Time to say 'goodbye' as Sharon leaves for the Raleigh airport and Corvallis. It was a terrific trip!
