This exciting new group is forming under the leadership of Laurie Riley whom we are most fortunate to have residing in Washington State once again! There will be harps of all types and harpers at all playing levels. I am so looking forward to this!!!

Southeastern Harp Weekend

Sharon Thormahlen and I will once again be heading east to the North Carolina mountains to attend the Southeastern Harp Weekend. This event, which takes place every other year, hosts wonderful teachers, vendors, and participants. It is so much fun to meet harpers from all over the east coast, to see the harps built by many of the US and Canada's best craftspeople, and to hear wonderful concerts in the evenings. After attending a Master Class with Maeve Gilchrest on Monday, Sharon and I will roam around the area, playing and composing music together. I can't wait!
